haha.

pple like being funny.
pple like pple who are funny

and inevitably all of us try to be funny - make others laugh - so if someone else laughs - usually, usually they are happy with yu - and that means they want to be around you more - and so yu have friendships formed on relevant humour types (usually usually) - humour has to be understood both ways - the one eliciting laughter and the one being entertained -

yu cud either be very successful in trying to make pple laugh and they laugh wholeheartedly
yu cud either by trying very hard to makae pple laugh and they laugh because they can se the effort yu make and they know that yu know its not funny
or yu cud think yu are very funny but in reality pple are laughing at yu and not with you.
or yu cud just not try to be funny yet some pple think yu are absolutely hilarious

and in the same way there is no true "they" around because as much as they are audiences sometimes, everyone is their own main character and everyone is an audience to how they play their life.

soanyway there are many things that make me laugh
ive been doing my bits of analysing lately.
besides the different categories of content - the way in which the humour is carried out means a lot to the intonations the content is supposed to elicit in pple. not everyone is suited for all kinds of humour.

i think what makes me laugh the most is the ability to laugh at yourself - not as a inferiority complex way
but the ability to retort in such a way that shuts the retorter up, yet making the retorter realise that he is getting nowhere haha or maybe even with the absence of a retorter but the occurence of certain events that accentuate a mistake or careless moment where quick remarks bring your countenance even lower - and not struggle desperately to save face. haha im rambling.

complex ya i will name examples im sure there are many funny pple out there and these are some that i can quote distinctly rmeeber

over skype:
rah: yu were much more glam the last time i knew yu. what happened.
chan: no . i still very glam what. i can be glam- i am glam.
-gives a act glam face and sits upright-
....
-then goes on to lean back on her seat... (still looking quite glam.)
....and puts her leg on the table ... and does many more unglam things that i shall not add here. (still with the i am very glam look)

i found that ultimately hilarious
not that mention the various exploits with three little bears.

and then.
there is woochiao over skype
when i comment that his hair looks great now - after he bathes
he is very happy and excited haha =)
half an hour later his hair flattens and hmm
i say yur hair is not so great now
and he is like oh sheet i only look good half an hour everyday only after i bathe
okae i dunno how to say it properly yusee even the art of telling things such that it sounds funny is an artform altogether

and then.
paul -
he asked me to take out the practical worksheet from his file for that day
and his bag was buried under many bags and his file buried within his bag and i was O_o
okae. haha and then when i finally oppned the file he's like exclaiming out loud
"don't look at the front page! its porn!! and for a moment i was O_O but after that i was pretty amused.

and the
weiliang: "yu sure yu want me to sit on this table ah?"
prof asking him to sit down to demonstrate the axilla
he has a previous encounter with the anat hall table.

and then
just the other day i was watching some famous talk show host hosing her show and she was interivewing some author of a book and nnnnn where inside the author talks about being obssessed with talking to himself. and then he pops the question to the host do ou talk to youself as well?
and shes like
almost immediately no hesitation
"no i don't" -incredulous look-
and then half a second later
turns her head half tilt and says "yes yu do"
" NO i don't. widens eyes"

jo: "ya im pregnant... again"

hahahaha.
