you see when im in the post photo mood i cant stop.

because i miss picasa so much. im back to my desktop where good old picasa is here. haha and the most random pics taken and uploaded into this com are here so i shall just post and blog.

singaporeans are weird. i know i wudnt want to donate to immobile flag bearers at one corner but if i APPROACH yuyu yu can at least smile back haha. nevermin- the ratio was okae for every 10 smiley ones yu get 1 moody one. anyway. it'll be the only time where pple upon approaching yu GIVE way to yu, or start pointing to various many many parts of their body - collar, shoulder, chest, chest pocket, wallet, wrist, palm, watch, elbow, belt, handbag, etc etc etc just to show yu the little round nus sticker.

the chest pockets one and the belt ones looked a bit worrying after a point of time if yu didnt know better what they were trying to do. hahaha

and this was during og one hour to plan and not very long while the plan was in execution but nontheless fruitful outing where we went to eat turkish icecream an rg favorite and tradition. hee.
its sticky and leaves teethmarks. haha
well. it actually looks quite gross right.

and this is dr quah. who is the owner of the 15 years ago mcminn's second edition. he's so big but he's so friendly and lovable. hahaha
sometimes i get waves of ncc nostalgia when i think aobut what day it is and think about events happening in the clinic with the various doctors belonging to certain days and of course i like thursdays the most hahaha
i went back on a thusrday and saw my favorite doctor hahaha .

haha and fainlly highly random. since we are on nostalgia. my dearest dearest friends back in uniform and carefree and HAVERSACK days. why does no one carry haversacks to university nwoadays? it is too UNGLAM issit? its very sad that peer pressure actually works haha nevermind one of these days i will bring my handy orange deuter down
speaking of which my dear REN leaves this tuesday. hai

so altho it took a record long 1 hour +++++ conversation with 8 +- 1 persons we finally decided to go to orchard in the afternoon

suprise. suprise

hahaha anyway. we met with not much difficulty. except for nick and his new phone and new keypad and new number one on his keypad which is sensitive to my touch. haha

and so we. wooch didnt want jap food/buffet and amanda didnt want food that included too much fish.
so we went to nydc
it wasnt so bad there were exactly 8 people more or less the people in the infamous conversation haha
there was in seating order as i remember
daryl, amanda, mandy, me, nick, wooch, siew yi and gabriel

so we all ordered oven baked rubbish. almost gabriel had some sandwich
and i ordered whats that. some 3 amigos pasta.
and it smelt good hahaha.
so i added a bit cheese
and then i added a bit of pepper.

or so i thought/wanted/wished/hoped for
but hey guess what: ---

tragedy.haha those are pepper flakes all the red things yu see on the background of yellow is/are pepper flakes
hahaha showers of blessing of peppers and chillis and most importantly the chilli seeds.

haha and the whole story revolves ard.

mandy unscrewing the pepper thing cause the holes of the shaker dun really let much chili get threw
and then she screws it on/ or not inconsequential here haha - passes it to nick who decides it is a great idea to do that and hence also pours/spews/litters his food with the pepper.
and then he puts the lid gently on top of the glass bottle and places it nicely in front of him. hahaha

all this while i was examining the exact amounts of grams of finely shredded cheese onto my very own 3 amigos hahaha and trying to distribute them evenly amongst the meatballs. as i was so engrossed in that haha naturally not noticing the exchange going on next to me.

and so i moved on to add some/abit/alittle/minuteamounts of pepper by lightly shaking the above-mentioned glass bottle. onto my pasta.

ahahaha and heyyyy. wooooshh. etc etc etc etc etc etc.

hahahahah okaeeee.

anyway after all laughters/shock/dismay/amusement/embarassment/guilt had died down- as well as attempts to remove the pepper and chilli the seeds stayed and rfused to go away and mandy was so valiant as to offer to exchange her destiny's child with me

at this point which wooch will break out into
"say my name say my name etc etc"
which reminds me of the earlier conversation which basically has
"so is destiny child's any good?"
- wooch "they can sing i guess. but i dun really know how they would taste like"
hahahahaa
shud be a pretty old joke but i found pretty amusing at that time.

probably as old as the age old seasoned driver talking to a newly pronounced driver hey! yu passed driving right! but how yu going to park! got to hey! stop stop stop! let me take out my poles and put it out before yu can park righT!? no poles! no park! hahahaha so funny!!!

....

okae marn. i digress haha anyway.

as i was saying mandy gave me her destiny child's which i gratefully devoured...

there- looking nice and clean and non spicy many thanks to mandy indeed hahaha

and check out the culprit the errant pepper shaker -
but not before yu see the real culprit ..

which brings me back to why this post was named as such -
because of not placing the lid properly back onto the pepper bottle is equivalent to not flushing after yu use the toilet. where in this case guys not flushing the toilet after usage hahaha in this case nick probably does not ...

haha okae marn.

that was the episode1 of first ever og outing to do non float rubbish.
where we seek to make it a trend such that each og outing has to devote significant part of og time to plan for the next outing, where this time preferably exceeds the amt of time we spend doing the activity we last planned for. hahahaha

hey we're just going to bond over discussions on what to do instead of doing what we discuss to do

ok so i got the mac.

im happy with it convincing myself i am happy with it haha
eyerh. all the stupid iphoto and stuff is good but to work well with yu yu need an .mac account which requires more money

and since im such a html website idiot i dunno how else to blog photos up onto my blog because picasa cannot be used on a mac

and picasa was super easy cause i just had to select the photos up to four and press blog this! and walaa it appears in this particular window that i am blogging in right now.

oh dear now perhaps ill have to learn the upload pictures onto somewhere and then blog it which seems to be way more inconvenient!

but anyway i solved a number of problems. so im quite pleased.

first i thought my screen was too small cause my eyes would smart after a while as compared to my desktop which is 17 inches.but then i realised its cause of the filter that is on my desktop. so i took off the filter and put it on the mac so now it doest smart anymore. and by so doing i also see the great discrepancy between the size of my desktop screen and the mac. anyway so its nth to do with the choice of laptop haha but when i go out i probably cant bring the filter along aybe ill go look out for one.

i found out how to connect to the wireless at home within 5 minutes haha im also very pleased with that. cause kaiping taught me he says he spent 2 hours figuring that out. not that im pleased that he wasted his time and i didnt but it was easier to do that with the mac cause dun have to configure and everything. all it was click and type in password where the password is in a elusive place and will not be found anywhere in the depths of anyone's memory. which was wad made him search 2hours for it. i think.

now. im sad about no picasa.
and shud i get microsoft office legallly? or be like captain jack sparroww.

and ya the edges of the mac where my wrists are is quite sharp.

but hey there are prob problems everywhere. so i am not whining. i am merely voicing out thoughts.

anyway.

i think i shud go and get a mac for dummies book from the library to read.

so sad about picasa.

am going to get a soft case from DAISO.

ay before i forget i shall just randomly list down.

mac is according to many pple the one that draws me logically first is cause its:
virus free so yu save time and money on antivirus software
and then it also looks good
easy to use
exciting
in built camera!

haha but it has only2 usb ports
doesnt have a modem
i dunno what thats for
its 2.3 kg heavy.
and i want a portable one cause my desktop is stil good.
and the screen is smaller htan fujitsu and whe i was using it at lala's palce it was a bit uncomfy for the eyes just now
but i like the keyboard

but fujitsu which is still windows
got to keep updating antivirus software will be almost the same as my desktop
but then it means troubleshooting might be easier
it ahs 3 usb ports but lala says her dad's fujitsu's usb ports have spoiled pretty fast
nd its lighter at 1.8 kg
but its boring cause it'll almost be the same as the desktop.

thing is i dunno if my silly wireless network at home can be compatible with the mac or with any other laptop for that matter cause i remember it took a lot of hassle for things to be settled with the coms we have anyway my dad will leave his cumbersome laptop in his office and carry ard a portable disk so i figure he's going to usurp my com for a lot and he is very happy with his portable disk i wont be suprised if i asked him to pose for a picture he woud just do it.

see what he agreed to pose with snowy. hahaha
