random fact no 1:
today my mom drove past, what she claimed, to be the 'aluminum house', in school, after passing subway.
for the longest time after, after trying to picture a house made of such a metal, i realised she meant alumni house.

random fact no 2:
after histo prac today, after seeing all the microscopic things.. my mom was driving me home in the heavy rain. and the windscreen was spattered with raindrops big and small that totally reminded me of arteries, veins and nerves and satellite cells. exactly the same pattern.

random fact no 3:
i learnt recently after 2 weeks of learning about the male pelvis, that the part of the urethra that passes through the prostate is called the 'prostatic urethra'
and not 'prosthetic urethra' which made me wonder when i first heard it- why would it be such named after the plastic limbs that you make for people if they lose their original limbs unless..

random fact no 4:
i find the phrase "can you stop being a cowwwwwwwwww" very nice to roll off the tongue. courtesy of geri

random fact no 5:
i was watching cutthroat island on channel 5: this show about an agressive female pirate trying to find treasure. so one day she bought this slave (the only good looking male character in the show) because he could speak latin, and the treasure map she had was in latin.

so the two of them are sitting in the carriage facing each other, as the horse rumbles on its way, and the female pirate gives the slave the map to translate. the slave, trying to be funny, demands his freedom in exchange for translating the map. the female pirate, who is like too tough to be threatened..

immediately took our her dagger, and pointed the tip at his groin area...

meanwhile, as she did that she looked down, onto the map that he was holding and realise that there were letters written upside and so she promptly exclaimed

"it goes backwards!!!"

and the slave was like.. "uh..yeeeah.. it's quite normal, if you didnt know that."

like, i wouldn't have gotten the joke at all or come close to why it meant anything if i never learnt about the cremasteric reflex. such a practical use the body has for such a reflex.

and you and the rest of the pfa's never replied my email. and what shall i say in your birthday card that is not already in your farewell card! hahaha no need card lah hor. =) speaking of which. my farewell card never arrived and im very disappointed haha. ive got so many things to say and so many dilemnas and i need to study hard.

dun be so extreme laa haha its good to be moderate.
it was an error cause when i posted the photos i cudnt tell which one was the moth and which one was ther - i miss picasa i hope they hurry up make mac picasa. anyway thanks for cooking and setting up the fire even tho yu think its not as good as yu wanted it to be. i'm a chopsticks pro!

sarabird. haha i miss your sense of humour. i think its really rare. haha missed yu lots at the bbq yu werent ard =( got many gossips to share, changed impressions of pple - for better and for worse, and we played drinking goggles and mafia/polar bear. quite orientation group like. and we named ourselves BAG. - best anat group. haha super shameless we are =)

dearest paulaaa i miss saying goodnight to you too! i dun see you online anymore. or rather i think we just both sleep earlier nowadays. do you? how is law life is it anything like they portray in television shows haha.

johnnyyy. the chalice fairy show is ending! monday is the last episode. no more dimples ogling for me. and the concept of the show ayo the stupid wife of the guy comes back and so he has to give up the fairy. and christopher lee is absolutely horrible in the show! and the little girl is so cute. but i can't stand the horrible dubbing in the show i'd rahter hear the real voice of the little girl, and qianqian and everyone else haha.

gab. thanks for all the food in lecture theatre haha everyday is yur have a break and share food around dayy for yu. and i havent caught any superheros show recently. the most recent one i caught accidentally was spongebob squarepants - someone was trying to kick his ass. and he ran around the whole underwater world trying to run away from him and found out in the end that because he's a sponge, he absorbs all the blows and the guy can't hurt him. so in the end the bully just exhuasted himself silly whacking spongebob.
