pple like being funny.
pple like pple who are funny

and inevitably all of us try to be funny - make others laugh - so if someone else laughs - usually, usually they are happy with yu - and that means they want to be around you more - and so yu have friendships formed on relevant humour types (usually usually) - humour has to be understood both ways - the one eliciting laughter and the one being entertained -

yu cud either be very successful in trying to make pple laugh and they laugh wholeheartedly
yu cud either by trying very hard to makae pple laugh and they laugh because they can se the effort yu make and they know that yu know its not funny
or yu cud think yu are very funny but in reality pple are laughing at yu and not with you.
or yu cud just not try to be funny yet some pple think yu are absolutely hilarious

and in the same way there is no true "they" around because as much as they are audiences sometimes, everyone is their own main character and everyone is an audience to how they play their life.

soanyway there are many things that make me laugh
ive been doing my bits of analysing lately.
besides the different categories of content - the way in which the humour is carried out means a lot to the intonations the content is supposed to elicit in pple. not everyone is suited for all kinds of humour.

i think what makes me laugh the most is the ability to laugh at yourself - not as a inferiority complex way
but the ability to retort in such a way that shuts the retorter up, yet making the retorter realise that he is getting nowhere haha or maybe even with the absence of a retorter but the occurence of certain events that accentuate a mistake or careless moment where quick remarks bring your countenance even lower - and not struggle desperately to save face. haha im rambling.

complex ya i will name examples im sure there are many funny pple out there and these are some that i can quote distinctly rmeeber

over skype:
rah: yu were much more glam the last time i knew yu. what happened.
chan: no . i still very glam what. i can be glam- i am glam.
-gives a act glam face and sits upright-
....
-then goes on to lean back on her seat... (still looking quite glam.)
....and puts her leg on the table ... and does many more unglam things that i shall not add here. (still with the i am very glam look)

i found that ultimately hilarious
not that mention the various exploits with three little bears.

and then.
there is woochiao over skype
when i comment that his hair looks great now - after he bathes
he is very happy and excited haha =)
half an hour later his hair flattens and hmm
i say yur hair is not so great now
and he is like oh sheet i only look good half an hour everyday only after i bathe
okae i dunno how to say it properly yusee even the art of telling things such that it sounds funny is an artform altogether

and then.
paul -
he asked me to take out the practical worksheet from his file for that day
and his bag was buried under many bags and his file buried within his bag and i was O_o
okae. haha and then when i finally oppned the file he's like exclaiming out loud
"don't look at the front page! its porn!! and for a moment i was O_O but after that i was pretty amused.

and the
weiliang: "yu sure yu want me to sit on this table ah?"
prof asking him to sit down to demonstrate the axilla
he has a previous encounter with the anat hall table.

and then
just the other day i was watching some famous talk show host hosing her show and she was interivewing some author of a book and nnnnn where inside the author talks about being obssessed with talking to himself. and then he pops the question to the host do ou talk to youself as well?
and shes like
almost immediately no hesitation
"no i don't" -incredulous look-
and then half a second later
turns her head half tilt and says "yes yu do"
" NO i don't. widens eyes"

jo: "ya im pregnant... again"

hahahaha.

im proud of jo for installing the wireless in her room thats what chan said but i KNEW that a BUT. was coming up and yes sth like jo is like ripping off someone else wireless.
so in order that a) chan stops threatening me everytime i put a new video up and b)i am more than partially represented by my hands in the video its not up here but its up at PFA. for jo and johnny and ren's eyes and selected other fews eyes only. hahaha

hahaha okay a very nice random thoughtful thing

and then ms joycelyn lee with lala i think gave me this giordana shirt with DONT MESS WITH ME -teeth teeth + fierce eyes- drawing fabric painted on the back wich eventually went on to smudge on itself along the course of the day and is pretty unwearable anywhere else besides to sleep - on my front

and jialun remembered with a biscuit and a note
and paul gave me a chocolate flavoured straw

and then on the night of 15th. haha the day before i finally cleared my sms inbox of 1884 messages
prepare it for today haha every single one is important to me and they make me happy. =)

anyway chan tells me at 11pm than she has to fetch her dad from the airport and then at ren comes on skype and says she has a secret mission and etc no one wants to skype nor talk to me. hahaha and consequently

she says she has fleas and cannot sleepover o-o haha and shes like oh i need to go and send my father off at the airport now BYE. see yu on monday. hehehehe ... and she left and stopped skyping at 1135. hahaha anyway i was pleased i was worried when she made no signs or attempts to leave at 1110 and all the while dodging my questions hahaha. but ah i was happy when she left.

ah the clock struck 12. my birthday is over.

hahaha and then i skyped with REN. who finally decided that it was time to call me and extract me out of my misery. and then she showed me parts of her wall and refused to let me nearthe walls to see the photos near up and slowly the hour drew nearer and ren's mom came along to sing happy birthday in english and in chinese all the way from across the globe! haha =)

and then nick called on skype and sang happy birthday over skype
and then woochiao called on skype and sang happy birthday in both languages and was unhappy that he was not the first but hey being the last means yu get to spend longer time singing it
and then chan called and shes like dear rah happy birthday im going to the airport now and i have fleas. sth like that O_O hahaha okae.
and then she put down and someone called and said "...rah?"
nand it took me really quite a while before i realised that its JO JOJOJOJO. lovely jo hahhaaha amazing. so i was very happy and did a little dance and talked to her for a while until ...

and then CHAN called on skype.. i was like darn- shes still at home its 12am arleasy and she opened her window to reveal a PINK BACKGROUND. ... ...
which looks faintly exactly like the wall of the corridor outside my house and shes like
hey look at the new plants i planted. turn left turn right
..

and then i went down to open the door still with jo on the phone and shes like no where near the PLANTS outside my house..
and im like oops. hmm. and i turn right and lok far far away down the corridor to see this orange figure sitting among the plants outside SOMEONE else's house hahahaha
haha and i cudnt stop laffing.

all this while jo is spending precious time on the phone call from uk here.

hahaha and so she floudnered in with all her barang barang and in between jos and chans and holding the phone for chan and walking up the stairs together and laffing and rolling eyes i spoke to jo for a while more to chan ill deal with yu later. hahaha all this while she is like 'imovedhouse what i told yu im at my house its just there O_O" "..and ido have fleas its just that..."

haha anyway it was very nice to hear lovelyamazingsweethappeningmarvelous jo and all her nonsense and hear how her internet fails her and how everything in scotland is so inefficient..

and then hahaha ya anyway the whole story is that she said she had another present for me in the mail besides the berks from 7 nice pple and the femurpatella-lookalike balloon and johnnys card and her macbook and okae thats amazing.

and her video. was priceless. i never saw anything FUNNIER THAN THAT. chan is the most amazingfunnysiaolovelycrazymarvellousbeautifulbountifulmystifyingrandomsugary person in the whole wide world. hahahahahahaha and i am not allowed to reveal the contents of the video

and then after that revealed the SECRET MISSION of ren at 11pm. and she made a video hahaha and showed me her pictures. thiscrazyretardedfunnyhalfblindsiaocharbo kept showing me pictures on her wall close up and like going "hey thats yuu.. and johnny do yu see that so clear and all of us" and all this while focusing on like fiona's face, geri's face, haha she does not realise the exact position of the isight camera and she keeps oxymoroning herself by saying "rah yu are everywhere! i just cannot find you!" and like "ya ya see you are all over the place! but i just dunno how to find it"
hahaha .

and it ended on a very touching note and i love yu a lot ren.

and much much kudos to chan for doing an idiot proof picture by picture comic strip on HOW TO USE IMOVIE. hahahahaha in the toilet.

and so we floundered a bit more online offline the movie made me laff so much. hahaha i really really cannot over emphasize (this phrase is used ALL THE TIME) how funny it was. hahahahaha
skyping with random pple no i think we only skyped with woochiao
and then suddenly.

chan had to use the toilet she didnt want to use the upstairs so she said ILL GO TO THE downstairs one.
and i okae. mindingmy own business in my own room and then suddenly THER comes in. HAHHA
hahahha HAHAH . and she completely threw me off guard her whole appearance thing either she did a very good job in concealing she had connections between chan and suddenly they are bosom friends overnight hehe. and wooch says he received the most messages from chan this week than he ever did in a year hahaha =)

okae im really very impressed with tHER. haha
anyway we spent a veery romantic night with snowy digging holes in us and being very whiny and lovable and ruggy.

and then we talked about many strange things

and thank yu to joshua also for the birthday card which on the envlope outside he put JOHNNY'S BEDOK address.. with my block apt number.

and many many many many thanks to ren jo chan belle geri ther and weiliang for the berks to ren especially for insisting on it and for chan for going down to wheelock for a "serious business 'shhhshh' and choosing the colour. thank yu thank yu thank yu thank yu i will chain them to my feet and clean them and try my best to frame them up everytime i wear them haha =)

i am nineteen years old and 1 hour and 16 minutes

and then in the morning gabriel cam after driving and ther left for tuition
and snowy came in and jumped on chan to wake her up
and then we learnt how to play the piano! and then meei and mel suddenly came

and they brought a cake! the problem was that ma called me urgently before saying that MEEI AND MEL are here asking me tO OPEN THE DOOR for rhem which i promptly did and spoilt their fun of having a suprise haha anyway they brought the cake of the year and sang a song with chan and gabriel around. hahaha
lovely and they got a me a nice wallet meei says they were at the wallet shop and were debating over which one to buy and in the end they scissors paper stone and i dunno who won but i am happy with the new wallet it looks like my old wallet just more leathery and cooler and my old one was tearing apart and bery ovservant MEEI caught it im suprised that they celebrated it bcause this year seems tobe the no celebrations birthday year hahaha but i think cause our exams are at different times and now none of us are in any exams so we can ceelbrate for each other

i need to remember to charge my phone

and then i had lunch with gabriel at this seafood shop in novena and the place is prettygood and value for money hahahaha

i dun think i can outdo chan haha her present is too gamely no matter how i pick up my game i wont be able to outdo that but i'll try my best. now haha i have to rack my brains to figure out WHAT TO DO when she leaves

and i must remmeber meei's birthday tooooo

i watched THE BANQUET it is a gory film and soft porn show where EVERYONE dies. even tho the whole show is about how much effort was made into keeping the key pple alive everyone dies in the end out of seemingly trivial things which is really retarded. as in its really artsy and all that but its. --- 5 minutes for every charactesr FACIAL twitches. and zzy is not very pretty what she just has many forms of expressions haha. what is wrong with swordfighting shows nowadays what happened to the good old love fighting scenes with sturdy horses and pigtails hahaha. the killing and torture scenes were really graphic. and so were the seducing scenes

hahaa well at least i got a movie ticket that states the banquet 16th sept 2006.

woo today there was floorball pt. and all the time i was

hahaha its terrible. anyway it wasnt as bad as my worst imaginations.
its the too much time for imagination in the period befor eit i thiin

and.
after that like NINE O CLOCK plsu plus plus my dad picks me up for dinner with my mommy.
so we went to tHai express for dinner because its 5 days before ____
and i get a discount voucher to use and so i had my soft shell crab and mom had some shrimp rice
and so. this nice lady told us we needed one more item den make it 35 to get a free bottle of red wine. and so my dad ordered a mango shake thing
so anyway it totally cost 37 dollars minus 15 dollars which is 22 dollars and i had a bottle of free wine which shud cost at least 20 dollars if we know how to actually use it. pple do drink red wine right on what occasions and how much? anyway so the meal cost us 2 bucks we figured. hahaha

anyway.
i cut my nails. they are nice and short and clean. and it feels nice.

back from the commissioning that i did go in the end.
last minute.
uneventful.
thought provoking.
song inspiring.

andd. i think the 75 of us souls who were still there at the end of today's conference should be given an award for staying all the way to the very end. and well
actually we do it says this is to certify __ me __ attended the 2nd student medical education conference. hur.

why did prof make it sound optional? i think it was really quite sad how the whole place was half empty.
that aside
even if it was full - the whole place would be full of pple sleeping because all the lecturers just kept repeating themselves and the only slightly interesting parts were the ones with life examples and moral dilemnas and put up the red card or the green card haha which we cant really relate too because we havent been there ourselves unless yu watch really enough of greys anatomy and house to beliee yourself to be like them already.

anyway i think ethics and all these are really deep stuff.
and somehow a majority of us can actually go right deep. like i mean even the most heck care person when yu stop that guy and put him down to make him think properly i guess somewhere there will be that bit of conscience so ya in the same way in a conference its only just giving everyone to find this inner rubbish ethical person
doesnt really make sense right.
haha i dunno but if yu want to have a like deep talk with someone yu can go really deep i guess. like im sure all of us have at least read up and heard about deep thought provoking life stories enough to give an impression that we are deep people genuinely or not.

ya im just trying to say that i think its the trivialities that actually matter.
and not the sit down and prode deep into a person
but the first impressions a person gives yu not pretentiously (like the interviews kind) but at least of a few weeks or months of interaction maybe even the hi bye kinds. the trivial stuffs that matter- like being courteous friendly using clean language even to the stuff that yu find amusing - haha KOREAN tv shows, latest movies, jaychou songs, or do yu manage to make fun at everything even in the strangest contexts.

anyway.
im hooked onto grey's anatomy
it has a lot of such rubbish ethical dilemnas in the show
so like a lot of the moral dilemnas they brought up made me somehow think of meredith and george and dr berk. hahaha

and they seem righteous and ethical in the show
but i wouldnt call all of them professional behaving pple to me.

and.
highly annoying because the last week of proper lectures my sleep cycle was bad and i was dozing off in lectures. and on thursday i revamped my cycle but sleeping really long and happily i was so unusually alert in today's lectures i shud get an award for not sleeping. gah.
